The Evangelical Youth Alliance International (EYAI) has advised the opposition political parties to be conducting themselves in a peaceful manner if their demands to amend the Public Order Act are to be met.

EYAI President Reverend Moses Lungu says to some extent, the behavior of certain political players may give government a chance of reluctance knowing that when amended or abolished, they may not be conducting themselves in a peaceful manner.

Reverend Lungu says laws are there to guide the people and that it can be difficult for government to abolish it completely when they are not satisfied with the levels of tolerance.

He has since advised political players to show maturity in the manner they are conducting themselves for them to successfully convince government to amend the act.
