Zambia has adequate laws to guide mining of Uranium- Yaluma

Government says there is adequate legislation to guide the mining of Uranium in the Country.

Mines Minister Christopher Yaluma says the Mines ACT is explicit in the mining, transportation and handling of Uranium products.

He says this means that Uranium is part of the minerals that fall under minerals whose mining is guided by the Country’s mining policy.

Mr. Yaluma has disclosed to QTV in an interview that government has since issued two Uranium mining exploration licenses to private companies.
