PF not afraid of HH – Longwe

Patriotic Front Lusaka Province Chairman Horrance Longwe says the party is not afraid of the UPND ahead of this year’s elections because its leader is not a factor.

Speaking during the launch of six PF branches in Lusaka this afternoon, PF Lusaka Province Mr. Longwe says the opposition in Zambia is still weak.

Mr. Longwe says the party has prepared well for the forthcoming general election and there is nothing to be afraid of.

Meanwhile, the PF Lusaka Provincial Chairman says the party will not engage in any acts of violence as directed by President Lungu.

Speaking at the same event, Lusaka PF Youth Chairman Kennedy Kamba has advised Council of Churches in Zambia (CCZ) General Secretary Reverend Suzanne Matale to refrain from engaging in active politics.

Mr. Kamba says if Reverend Matale wants to join politics, she will do well to follow the path Father Frank Bwalya and Father Richard Luonde took by joining political parties of their choice than hiding in the name of CCZ to campaign for certain political party leaders.
