MMD acting Spokesperson Reuben Sambo says that the expulsion of Lunte Member of Parliament Felix Mutati from the party is final and nothing can save him.

Reverend Sambo in a statement to Qfm News says this is because the decision was made at a legally constituted extra-ordinary National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting which is the highest party organ between conventions.

He says Mr Mutati has no leg to stand on and that holding press briefings, public demonstrations and any other such conduct will not make things any better for him.

Rev. Sambo has wondered why it has taken Mr Mutati four weeks to respond to the issues of double-dealing which were earlier raised by MMD National Treasurer Elizabeth Chitika.

He says Mr Mutati and others he has described as chancers are trying to take over the party after being in hibernation in the last 4 years and contributing nothing to its advancement.

And Reverend Sambo says suspended party Spokesperson Raphael Nakachinda is only complicating his case by stating that his suspension is sham while investigations into allegations against him are ongoing.

He says Mr Nakacinda is jumping the gun by publicly talking about not being given a chance to exculpate himself when he has only been suspended.

Reverend Sambo states that a suspension does not require exculpation, which will only comes in once charges are laid against him in due course.
