President Edgar Lungu has appealed to the outside world to explore priority sectors of Zambia’s economy and increase investment for the continued growth of the economy.

The Head of State said this at State House this morning when he received letters of credence from Ambassadors and High Commissioners from ten countries.

President Lungu notes that the outside world has been partnering with the Zambian Government and has rendered valuable assistance in various sectors such education, health, agriculture, trade and investment, water development and other key sectors.

He says Zambia boasts of a conducive environment for doing business, with numerous investment opportunities in priority areas of agriculture, tourism, manufacturing, energy and mining.

President Lungu has since appealed to the new Ambassadors and High Commissioners accredited to Zambia to harness this potential during their tour of duty and increase their countries’ investments in Zambia.

The Ambassadors and High Commissioners who presented their letters of credence are from Democratic Republic of Congo, Ghana, Sudan, South Sudan, Algeria, Switzerland, Saharawi Republic, Belgium, Croatia and Austria.
