Government has constituted a team of experts to look into the challenges being faced by farmers in districts where the electronic voucher system is being piloted.

Agriculture Deputy Minister, Maxas Ng’onga has told QTV News in an interview that government has decided to constitute the team of experts to specifically investigate all the flaws that have come with the program in a bid to address them before the 2016/2017 farming season.

Mr. Ng’onga says the team will give a full report before the commencement of the next farming season so that the program is implemented smoothly.

He adds that government is committed to adequately addressing all the challenges affecting farmers in the implementation of this program.

Mr. Ng’onga points out that some of the key challenges some farmers have complained about include the loss of network and late activation of the e-voucher cards.
