Changala advocates for repealing of POA

Civil rights activist Brebner Changala

Civil rights activist Brebner Changala says repealing of the Public Order Act should be a campaign issue in the August 11^th elections.

Mr. Changala says political parties should commit to repealing the Public Order Act on the first day of being in office after the elections.

He says this is in order that the Country concentrates on debating other pressing issues other than a legislation that is clearly a hangover from the colonial rule.

Mr. Changala states that he personally thinks the Public Order Act serves no interest.
