Govt urged to send relief food to Moomba constituency

Moomba UPND Member of Parliament Vitalis Mooya has called on government to step up efforts in sending relief food to the people of Moomba constituency in view of the looming hunger in the area.

Mr. Mooya says the dry spell will worsen the hunger situation in his constituency because people will have no food.

He says people are worried with the apparent reluctance by government to come to their aid.

Mr Mooya says it will be unacceptable for people die of hunger when the government has enough time to provide relief food to the needy.
