FODEP Executive Director Macdonald Chipenzi
The Foundation for Democratic process (FODEP) has urged the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) to quickly sensitize people on how the Short Message System (SMS) facility will work in verifying their details.
FODEP Executive Director Macdonald Chipenzi says there is need for civic education considering that not everyone knows how to use the SMS facility.
Mr. Chipenzi says there is also need to ensure that all mobile networks to be used ensure there is no network failure.
He says this is considering that all registered voters are expected to check their details within the seven days window period provided for by the law.
