ECZ maintains revised nomination fees

The Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) says the revised nomination fees for this year’s elections still stand.

ECZ public relations Manager Crispin Akufuna says the revised nominations fees will remain as they are not until the commission decides otherwise.

Mr. Akufuna has told QTV in an interview that stakeholders that feel strongly aggrieved over the hiked fees are however; free to seek an audience with the commission.

Meanwhile the Commission has still not received funding to enable it conduct the 14 days mobile voter registration exercise from 16^th to 29^th February.

Mr. Akufuna explains that this entails that the 14 days mobile voter registration exercise has been put off.
