The Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA) has urged political players to adhere to Road Safety standards ahead of the August 11th General Election.

RTSA Acting Senior Public Relations Manager, Fredrick Mubanga has told QFM News that political players tend to disregard road safety requirements during campaigns.

He notes that this is the period when people get excited with the campaign mood and forget that they are expected to exhibit a good culture on the road.

Mr. Mubanga says it is for this reason that the agency will be convening a meeting with political players to educate them on the need to adhere to road safety during campaigns.
