PF has no intentions of swallowing MMD – Chama

The ruling Patriotic Front says it is not seeking to forge an alliance with the MMD with the objective of swallowing the former ruling party.

PF Secretary General Davies Chama says to the contrary, the alliance the ruling party is seeking is about governance and provision of leadership.

Mr. Chama tells Qfm News that the PF wants to partner with progressive political parties that have the interest of improving the lives of the Zambian people.

He says the ruling party wants to bring on board progressive political parties to be part of its bigger plan of transforming the Zambian economy and creating jobs for the youth.

Asked what the rules of engagement with such political parties will be in the alliance, Mr. Chama has declined to comment saying such matters are not for public consumption.
