Msoni condemns closure of CBU, UNZA

All People’s Congress (APC) President Nason Msoni has condemned the indefinite closure of the Copperbelt University and the University of Zambia.

Mr. Msoni has lamented that government has decided to close the two institutions without giving dialogue a chance.

He has told QTV from the United Kingdom that government should therefore quickly reopen the two universities and pay students their allowances.

And Mr. Msoni says the culture of using excessive force on the students by Police is what has contributed to creating polarized situations at the two universities.

He has since advised government to desist from using excessive force against defenceless citizens.
