ISCZ counsels against politicizing looming hunger

The Islamic Supreme Council of Zambia (ISCZ) says the looming hunger situation in the country should not be politicized.

Council President Suzyo Zimba says it is worrying that the looming hunger situation in the country is being politicized by some political players.

Mr. Zimba says certain situations require people to work together in order to overcome them, and that the looming hunger is one such situation which calls for togetherness to overcome.

He has also encouraged Zambians not to be discouraged by the current hardships they are facing, but instead turn to God for sustainability.
