Caritas Zambia has reiterated its call to political parties to exercise restraint as they campaign ahead of the August 11th general elections.

Executive Director Samuel Mulafulafu says his organization is urging all political parties vying to be in government to learn to co-exist.

Mr. Mulafulafu tells QTV that it is the duty of political parties to take a leading role in ensuring that their campaigns are peaceful and tolerant.

He says political parties should keep in mind that at the end of it all there will have to be only one winner of the elections.

Mr. Mulafulafu notes that Caritas Zambia wants whichever political party wins the election such a victory be one that is of decency.
