ZED urges upholding of peace ahead of August elections

Zambians have been urged not to be distracted from maintain peace and stability even as the country goes to the polls on the 11th of August.

Zambians for Empowerment and Development (ZED) President Fredrick Mutesa says there is need to sustain an electoral environment where the respect of the rule of law is upheld as the country prepares for the elections.

Dr. Mutesa says this is in order that the outcome of the August elections gives a true reflection of the will of the people.

He adds that Zambians should keep in mind that they a record of being peaceful nation to keep.
