Torn down your language, politicians told

The Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) has urged political leaders in the country to torn down in their language.

EFZ Executive Director Pukuta Mwanza says politicians should realize that they only differ in ideologies, while they all remain Zambians.

He notes that the lack oPukuta Mf tolerance for each other’s views and certain statements by political leaders have helped fuel political violence in the country.

He says political leaders are responsible for the violence in the country because of the words they use which their cadres misinterpret and in turn ignite violence.

He laments that despite the church’s continued efforts in preaching peace, love, unity and forgiveness, issues of violence have continued to occur.

Reverend Mwanza has further urged the Zambians to denounce violence and demand peace from all political parties.
