The National Council for Construction (NCC) is basing it projection on the magnitude of the infrastructure development projects that are still underway in the Country.

NCC Executive Director Charles Mushota says the attainment of the vision 2030 is another indication that shows there is still more infrastructure development that is to take place in Zambia.

He says besides having such massive infrastructures development, the manner in which projects are packaged by procuring agencies is what also makes Zambia attractive to foreign contractors.

Mr. Mushota tells Qfm TV that there are currently 239 foreign contractors who compose 5 percent of the entire construction sector.

He says the 239 contractors who however share 90 percent of the construction works in the Country come from within Africa, Asia and Europe.
