PF, MMD counseled to see each other as equals

The Ruling PF and opposition MMD have been advised to consider each other as equals if their echoed alliance, ahead this year’s general elections, is to work.

The PF and the MMD are being urged to realize that both of them need each other to win the August 11th general elections.

The Evangelical Youth Alliance International (EYAI) is of the view that if members of these two parties fail to consider each other as equals they risk losing the opportunity they have to win the elections.

Executive Director Moses Lungu says has his organization thinks the ruling PF being the party in power should be the one whose members should be even more embracing to MMD members.

He has implored the ruling PF to sustain the spirit of togetherness that PF founder and late republican President Michael Sata perpetuated in the ruling PF by embracing all new members from other parties.
