Mulongoti assessing party to support in August elections

The opposition People’s Party has disclosed that he is still assessing which political party his party will support in the forthcoming general elections.

PP Leader Mike Mulongoti says it is too early for him to disclose the presidential candidate he will support to ensure that the candidates amasses the 50 percent plus one winning threshold.

He says he will announce his party’s decision once parliament is dissolved.

And Mr. Mulongoti has called for peace, unity and stability ahead of the August 11th, 2016 general elections.

He stressed the need for the people and Zambians to stay united and sustain the peace and stability in the country.
