The Islamic Supreme Council of Zambia (ISCZ) has charged that some political party alliances that will be formed ahead of August 11th are bound to fail because some politicians are not sincere with others.

ISCZ President Suzyo Zimba says all political party leaders would want to form alliances with other parties in order to get into power, and later forget the terms agreed upon before entering in the alliance.
Mr. Zimba says it is for this reason that political party leaders should carefully look at the terms of entering into such alliances before regretting later.
He adds that politicians should also be mindful that alliances cab build or destroy political parties.
Mr. Zimba however states that it is important for political parties to work together for the good of the growth of democracy.
