Economist Noel Nkhoma has observed a lack of political will by the government to lift the country’s economy from its current position.
Mr. Nkhoma has also noted that government’s continued borrowing has contributed greatly to what he has described as an economic crisis the country is facing.
He says he has not seen any tangible steps and actions taken by the government to normalize the economic environment.
Mr. Nkhoma who is former Economics Association of Zambia President has since advised government to slow down on infrastructure projects which he says have depleted the treasury.
