FDD calls for concerted efforts among opposition parties

The opposition Forum for Democracy and Development (FDD) has called for concerted efforts from opposition political parties in ensuring that the August 2016 elections are peaceful.

FDD Spokesperson Antonio Mwanza says the PF has already demonstrated that they are not willing to create a conducive environment for peace elections.

Mr. Mwanza says the onus is therefore on the opposition leaders to work towards making it easy for to engage in political activities.

Mr. Mwanza has called for tolerance amongst political players if the country is to maintain the status of being a peaceful nation even in times of elections.
