President Edgar Lungu is optimistic that the future of mining in Zambia is still bright.
Speaking to Journalists at Kenneth Kaunda International Airport this afternoon before departure for Ethiopia to attend the Africa Union heads of state summit, President Lungu says mining prospects in Zambia are high.
He says he is still studying the findings of the report of the technical committee on the mining audit which was presented to him yesterday.
President Lungu however states that government is still enjoying a cordial relationship with the mines and other investors.
And President Lungu says those giving the people of Zambia violence and hate should expect the same in return.
He says as for him, he will continue to give the people of Zambia love and get love in return.
