Mutembo Nchito
Government has been advised to dissolve the Mutembo Nchito tribunal and allow him to resume his duties as Director of Public Prosecutions.
The Zambian Voice Executive Director Chilufya Tayali tells QFM News that government should realize that it is losing out a lot more in tax payer’s money than it is benefiting from holding on to the court halted Mutembo Nchito tribunal.
Mr. Tayali says his organization thinks it is wastage of public resources for Mr. Nchito to continue being on suspension, while he is receiving half of his salary for doing nothing.
He states that the Zambian Voice does not think there are any allegations that in fact warrant Mr. Nchito to continue being on suspension.
Mr. Tayali states that this is especially that even the cases in which the State is alleged to have been interested in, but did not want Mr. Nchito to pursue have been thrown out of Court.
