Germany Ambassador to Zambia Bernd Finke
Germany Ambassador to Zambia Bernd Finke is confident Zambia will hold free and fair elections on August 11th.
In an interview with QFM News, Mr. Finke says this is considering that Zambia has a very good reputation of holding free and fair elections as well as overseeing peaceful transitions.
He says the Germany government expects to see history repeat itself in terms of holding free and fair elections, with a leveled playing field for all political stakeholders involved.
Mr. Finke adds that his government wants to see fair access to the media for all political parties.
He states that this entails according all political parties equal opportunities to put their messages across to the people.
