Lusaka residents praise Lungu’s one year in office

Some Lusaka residents have commended President Edgar Lungu for the leadership he has exhibited during his one year in office.

President Edgar Lungu has today 25th January clocked exactly one year in office following his victory in the 20th January, 2015 elections.

Residents spoken to by the QTV News crew noted that despite President Lungu coming into office at a time when the country was going through challenging times, government under his leadership has tried to put interventions in place to address these challenges.

Nsama Kabwe says President Lungu has demonstrated that he is a people person through his interactions with the people of Zambia of all kinds on many occasions.

John Banda says the signing into law of the amended constitution is milestone achieved by President Lungu in his one year in office.

Idah Kalulu says she is confident that if President Lungu stays much longer in office, he is able to move the country forward looking at what he has done in just one year in office.

Paul Nkandu says the president has tried his best during the one year in office and thus deserves the support of the people of Zambia come August 11, 2016.
