Coleen Rooney has given birth to her third child.

Wayne Rooney’s wife revealed on Twitter that she had welcomed a baby boy, Kit Joseph Rooney, on Sunday.

Taking to Twitter to announce her new arrival, Coleen revealed her and Wayne’s baby boy arrived on Sunday, weighing in at 8Ib 1oz.

She wrote: “Our gorgeous little Boy arrived today!! Kit Joseph Rooney …. 8Ib 1oz. We are all over the moon!!”

Wayne sparked rumours that his wife had gone into labour on Thursday, after the footballer posted an Instagram throwback snap of the couple with sons Kai and a then-newborn Klay.

The caption read: “#TBT – Family picture after Klay was born. Not long left until the new addition is here! #Family.”

Now, the happy couple have confirmed the arrival of their third child, with Wayne writing the same sweet message on social media as Coleen.

During her pregnancy, Coleen kept fans guessing about the sex of their imminent arrival after posting a photo of some baby clothes – one pink outfit and one blue outfit.

Stirring up some speculation of her own, she wrote: “Not long!!!!…………So excited and looking forward to the surprise!!”
