‘I don’t even want to think about that’: David Beckham reveals Victoria finds it hard watching son Brooklyn date.

DAVID Beckham has just given us an insight into Brooklyn’s life – and it’s surprisingly normal!

The former Manchester United footballer revealed that it’s been harder on wife Victoria Beckham than him to see their eldest son start dating.

He opened up about his 4 children, Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper growing up, and admitted that while he’ll definitely be emotional when they eventually leave home, the Spice Girl singer will find it harder.

Promoting his UNICEF documentary on The Project, an Austrailian TV show, he said: “I think it’s easier for me than his [Brooklyn’s] mum, you know? To see her little boy go out and date.

“Obviously for mums I think it’s slightly more difficult with the boys, but once Harper starts, I don’t even want to think about that at the moment!”

The 16 year old has so far kept his love life quiet, apart from speculation concerning his relationship with 5th Wave actress Chloe Grace Moretz,

Brooklyn is the same age that David was when he left home to pursue his sporting dreams, and the dad admitted that it felt weird.

“It’s one thing I always tell my kids. If they’re passionate about something, they need to go for it,” he said.

He added that he’d feel “exactly how my mum and dad felt” when the time came for his children to leave home.

“My mum was on the doorstep crying her eyes out. You know, my dad shed a tear, I’m sure, but not in front of me.”
