Poor dog registration by residents worries Chingola District Council

Chingola Municipal Council has expressed concern over the poor response by residents to the dog registration exercise.

Council Public Relations Officer Given Masambika says it is disheartening to note that residents of Chingola are not adhering to the Dog Registration Act.

He points out that the district only registered 25 dogs whole of last year.

Mr. Masambika has since appealed to Chingola residents to have their pets registered of risk having them eliminated.

He says the council will soon embark on an exercise of eliminating stray dogs in the district.
