ACC concludes FAZ chief probe

The Anti Corruption Commission has concluded investigations into allegations of corruption against Football Association of Zambia President Kalusha Bwalya.

ACC Public Relations Manager Timothy Moono has told an end year media briefing for 2015 that the Commission is now making follow ups with foreign jurisdictions to consolidate the investigations.

He adds that the Commission in 2015 also commenced investigations into new allegations of corruption at the Football Association of Zambia and that the investigations are progressing well.

And Mr Moono says the Commission’s investigations into allegations of Abuse of Authority Office at National Savings and Credit bank are progressing well and have reached an advanced stage.

He further states that investigations into allegations of mismanagement of funds at the National Youth Development Council (NYDC) involving management at the institution had reached an advanced stage by close of the year 2015.

Mr. Moono also states that investigations at the Ministry of General Education regarding the awarding of a contract to foreign publishing houses to print text books are still on- going.
