Rainbow Party Monze Chairman joins PF

Rainbow Party Monze District Chairman Lemmy Banda has defected to the ruling PF citing lack of leadership in the Rainbow Party.

Mr. Banda says he has not been influenced in anyway by anyone in joining the ruling party saying he has seen quality leadership in the PF.

Mr. Banda says he cannot see the future of the Rainbow Party in surviving in the political arena and that is why he has decided to join the ruling party.

He says the PF is making steady progress in terms of growth and that because of the massive developmental projects being undertaken by the PF Government.

He adds that it will be easier for the PF to win the elections given the current transformation that the country has undergone under the PF Administration.

And Monze PF District Chairman Gilbert Mwila says the party leadership in Monze District has received Mr. Banda with both hands saying President Lungu’s clarion call to party members is to embrace new members.

Mr. Mwila tells QFM News via telephone that this shows that the PF is growing in Southern Province.

He says very soon the Rainbow Party executive in the District will defect to the ruling party.

Mr. Mwila says the ruling party is unstoppable saying they will have it easy in winning this year’s elections.
