Safeguard coffers ahead of elections, Govt told

The Zambia Council for Social Development (ZCSD) has advised PF government to ensure prudent utilization of the country’s resources as its five year term of office comes to an end.

ZCSD Executive Secretary Lewis Mwape says there is need to guard against depletion of public resources.

Mr. Mwape says it would be sad for the next government or if the same government remains in power after the August elections to find empty confers.

He states that PF government should realize that it will be held accountable for use of public funds, hence the need to ensure public funds are safeguarded.
