More hail constitution signing

The Zambia Congress of Trade Unions (ZCTU) has commended the PF government for effecting amendments to the constitution at a low cost.

ZCTU Secretary General Cosmas Mukuka has tells Qfm News that this is despite some clauses that people wanted to be part of the constitution being left out.

And Evangelical Fellowship of Zambia (EFZ) Executive Director Pukuta Mwanza says his organization is happy that progressive clauses that people wanted are now part of Zambia’s constitution.

Meanwhile Foundation for Democratic Process (FODEP) Executive Director Macdonald Chipenzi says now that the Constitution Bills have been assented to, it is time for stakeholders to prepare for the successful holding of this year’s general election.

And PF Lusaka Province Information and Publicity Secretary, Stanley Chiumya says youths in the ruling party are happy that President Edgar Lungu has fulfilled the promise he made to deliver a people driven constitution.
