Opposition hails President Lungu for signing constitution

Some opposition political parties have hailed President Edgar Lungu for signing the adopted constitution bill passed by parliament into law.

MMD President Dr. Nevers Mumba says this is a positive move consider that it is what most people wanted.

Dr. Mumba says this is the more reason why the MMD supported

the parliamentary route to adopt the draft constitution.

And Zambians for Empowerment and Development(ZED)President Dr.Fredrick Mutesa says President Lungu should be applauded for granting the people of Zambia their wish.

Speaking in a separate interview, People’s Party President Mike

Mulongoti says the new constitution will enable all political parties to work together knowing too well that they will need each other during elections.

And Christian Democratic Party President Dr. Danny Pule has described as positive the signing into law of the constitution bill.
