Chief Kopa desires more developmental projects

Senior Chief Kopa of the Bisa people of Mpika District in Muchinga Province has called on government to initiate more developmental projects in his chiefdom.

He has explained to QFM News via telephone that his chiefdom is in need of more infrastructure in the health and education sectors.

The traditional leader says his chiefdom is in dire need of more schools as children are forced to walk long distances to access education.

Chief Kopa notes that the lack of adequate schools has led to young children falling victim to early marriages.

Chief Kopa adds that there is also need for government to work on the poor road network in his chiefdom which is making it difficult to transport goods and services.

And the traditional ruler says Kanchibiya Member of Parliament Davies Mwango has not done anything during his term.
He says Member of Parliament has neglected the people who put him in office.
