Former Finance Minister Katele Kalumba has observed that this speculative pricing is being propagated despite market players in all industries knowing what the real costs are.

Dr. Kalumba has however suggested that amidst this pricing practices government can still on the other hand reign in inflation even without price controls.

He has told Qfm News that this can be done by assuming reasonable men and women who are open about the actual factors that go in their production and therefore are reasonable enough in their pricing.

Dr. Kalumba states that if the Country does not however assume this there must be someone to intervene by way of regulating the behavior of the market players.

He says this in addition to curtailing the language of dollarization in the country.
