Prepaid meters fitted in residential Houses in Kafue District are reported to have expired and created a water crisis in the area.
The prepaid meters which are a property of the Lusaka Water and Sewerage Company (LWSC) are said to have expired on Friday the 1st January last week.
Information reaching Qfm News suggests that there has been no water supply in area for a period of three days now.
One Kafue resident spoken to on conditions of anonymity has told Qfm News by telephone that pressure is mounting on the ground that the LWSC does something about situation.
