Lungu’s fight against graft questioned

President Edgar Lungu’s political will to fight corruption in the Country has been questioned.

The Zambian Voice doubts that President Lungu presently has the capacity and the ability to fight corruption.

Executive Director Chilufya Tayali says this explains why his organization has continued talking about the issue of corruption under his administration.

Mr. Tayali says the Zambian Voice has kept on reminding President Lungu how important it is for him to show commitment in fighting to curb the vice.

He says his organization is of the view that President Lungu should not take for granted the peaceful nature of the Zambian people to relent at dealing with the issue of corruption effectively.

Mr. Tayali states that President Lungu should be advised that if he is to be remembered as a remarkable leader he must show among other things seriousness in stamping out corruption in Zambia.
