ICOZ urges church to inculcate Christian values in politicians

The Independent Churches of Zambia (ICOZ) has called on the church to strive to inculcate Christian values in politicians as a way of promoting peace and unity in the country.

ICOZ Board Chairman Bishop David Masupa has also encouraged politicians to heed to the advice of President Lungu for them to turn to God.

Bishop Masupa says the call by the President is positive and should not be taken as political expedience by some politicians.

He says there is need for all politicians to have Christian values if the country is to move in the right direction.
