2015 death toll of taxi drivers worries PPDAZ

The Public and Private Drivers Association of Zambia (PPDAZ) has expressed concern at the high number of taxi drivers that have died this year in unexplained circumstances.

And the association has encouraged taxi drivers to report to the Police any suspected criminals who are pretending to book Toyota corollas and later snatch them.

PPDAZ President Josiah Majuru has told QFM News that it is worrying that a number of taxi drivers who are breadwinners have been murdered this year alone.

Mr. Majuro has also appealed to the Police to ensure that they respond quickly each time taxi drivers report to them that they are under attack.
