Politicians encouraged to turn to God

Politicians in the country have been encouraged not to ignore the call by President Edgar Lungu for them to turn to God.

Bible Gospel Church in Africa (BIGOCA) Over-seer Bishop Peter Ndhlovu has encouraged the church in the country to go a step further in bringing politicians closer unto God.

Bishop Ndhlovu has told QFM News in an interview that the church is a beacon of peace that can play a pivotal role in uniting politicians in the country.

Bishop Ndhlovu states that if politicians have God in their hearts, they will be able to reason with each other and see to it that there is peace in the political sphere.

He says President Lungu must be commended for taking a lead in embracing God saying a person who has Jesus in his life will never go wrong.

He has since encouraged the church to engage political party leaders and preach God’s message to them as the country continues to seek means and ways of uniting the nation.
