PF Deputy SG Mumbi Phiri
Patriotic Front (PF) Deputy Secretary General Mumbi Phiri says political violence should not be condemned one sided.
Ms Phiri says it is sad to note that people are only labeling the PF as a violent party.
She notes that the current situation where people are painting a bad picture of the governing party will not help curb the vice, thus the need for people to condemn any party involved in violence and not simply blaming every incident of violence on the ruling party.
Ms. Phiri says there is need for all peace loving Zambians to condemn violence of any form in the strongest terms whether perpetrated by the ruling party or opposition parties.
The PF deputy Secretary General states that the ruling party is doing everything possible to see to it that PF members do not engage in violent activities because the party leadership does not believe in violence.
