Deeper Life Bible Church National Overseer John Amoni has advised Zambians to pray that as 2016 approaches, all forms of violence shall remain in 2015.

Speaking during a media briefing in Lusaka this morning, Pastor Amoni says violence will not help the country in any way or take the country anywhere but may just hinder the country’s progress.

He says it is thus important that issues of violence become a thing of the past so that the country can move forward in one accord.

Pastor Amoni notes that Zambians should pray for continued peace even as the country heads towards the 2016 tripartite elections citing that people and especially political parties should let the will of God to reign.

He points out that no matter what form of violence people engage in, if it is not the will of God, it will not happen thus the need to allow God to let his will prevail noting that the will of God is to prosper the nation.

Pastor Amoni has further encouraged political leaders to humble themselves and that God himself will lift them.
