The Zambia National Students Union (ZANASU) has expressed disappointment with the intra party conflicts in the Movement for Multi-Party Democracy (MMD).

ZANASU Vice President Prince Ndoyi says it is saddening that barely a year, the party has not yet healed from the leadership wrangle it had.

Mr. Ndoyi has challenged the party top leadership to come out in the open and inform the nation on what the future holds for the party and whether the citizens must still consider the party as an alternative in the next tripartite elections.

He has urged all the parties to emulate the UPND and FDD who have remained united since inception because such elements do not inspire confidence in the general citizenry citing that they are hopeful that these elements of divisions in-house are not sponsored by certain people with ulterior motives.

He tells QFM News in a statement that Dr Mumba and his team must quickly resolve the noise before it’s too late noting that the political landscape in the country demands, constructive divergent views that could build on the national consensus for national development.

Mr. Ndoyi has further states that 2016 is around the corner thus it is important that political parties put their houses in order.
