RPP hails infra development initiated by PF Govt

RPP has commended the Patriotic Front Government for the road infrastructure programme it has embarked on

Republican Progressive Party (RPP) has commended the Patriotic Front Government for the road infrastructure programme it has embarked on.

RPP Secretary General Leslie Chikuse says though the road infrastructure project was already earmarked by the MMD, the Patriotic Front government has tried its best to ensure that the road construction and rehabilitation becomes a reality.

He explains that when the roads are good, it is easy for the people to do business citing that if only other challenges such as the fall of the currency and the fuel prices are handled well, the cost of doing business in the country is likely to reduce and that this will translate into reducing the high cost of living.

Mr. Chikuse has urged the PF to ensure that all parts of the country benefit from its road infrastructure project and not only concentrate on certain parts of the country adding that all Zambians deserve good roads.

He further states that he is hopeful that in case the PF lives power next year, the next government should be able to pick up from where the PF will live the road infrastructure project.
