Nyimba MMD Member of Parliament Forrie Tembo
Nyimba MMD Member of Parliament Forrie Tembo last evening survived lightning at Piamanzi’s Safari Camp in Chief Nyalugwe’s area in Nyimba district.
The incident happened around 19hrs when Mr. Tembo, who is also Information and Broadcasting Services Deputy Minister, was touring his constituency.
The lightning struck one of the buildings which was 25 meters away from the chalets where the area MP was resting.
The building caught fire destroying property worth millions of kwacha.
No life was lost during this occurrence.
