Mwaliteta urges supply of seed to farmers in Kafue

Kafue PF Member of Parliament Obvious Mwaliteta says while farmers in his constituency are ready for the 2015/2016 farming season, they do not have seeds.

The Kafue Lawmaker has told QFM News that the agro dealers are the ones who are supposed to supply the farmers with seed.

Mr. Mwaliteta says Kafue District has received all the farming inputs under the Farmer Input Support Programme (FISP) apart from seed.

He has since urged the agro dealers to ensure that they supply the inputs on time to the farmers in view of the onset of the rains.
