NAREP calls for reconciliation ahead of 2016 polls

The opposition National Restoration Party (NAREP) in Western Province has called for reconciliation among political players ahead of the 2016 tripartite election in order to avert any possible violence.

NAREP Western Province Youth Chairman Songiso Simasiku says there is need for political leaders more especially those who will be taking part in the elections to reconcile with each other.

Mr. Simasiku says it is not healthy for political party leaders to continue harboring hatred towards one another.

He says this is evident from the continued attacks on each other through the media.

Mr. Simasiku states that political party leaders have a huge task ahead of them to ensure that they create a conducive atmosphere to do politics and deter their followers from engaging in violence.
