The Anti-Voter Apathy Project (AVAP) has commended the Electoral Commission of Zambia (ECZ) for conducting the mobile voter registration exercise without major challenges.
AVAP Executive Director Richwell Mulwani says his organisation is pleased that the mobile voter registration exercise which came to an end yesterday, went on well without complications.
He says the exercise has been a great success and that the ECZ deserves to be commended by all well-meaning Zambians for the manner they conducted the exercise.
Mr. Mulwani states that a survey conducted by his organisation has revealed that the exercise was successful and yielded recommendable results.
Mr. Mulwani has further applauded the ECZ for extending the voter registration exercise which enabled citizens who had not registered during the initial period to register.
